The Modern Music Method (ABN 81 280 667 160) is run by Jamie O'Sullivan in Melbourne, Australia. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and what you can do about it.

What we collect

What you give us

• Your first name and email address when you download the free Blueprint, buy a product or book a call.
• Your mobile number, if you enter it at checkout or when booking.
• Anything you tell us in an email, a message, an intake form or on a call.

What comes with a purchase

• What you bought, when and for how much.
• Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

What we collect automatically

• Your time zone and country, so emails and texts arrive at a sensible hour.
• Basic technical details such as browser type, pages visited and the address of the page that sent you here.
• Cookies and a Meta pixel, described below.

How we use it

• To send what you asked for: your download, your course login, your booking confirmation.
• To email or text you about your purchase and about related products and services. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To answer you when you get in touch.
• To run campaigns and services you have hired us for.
• To see which pages and ads bring people to the site, so we can improve them.
• To keep records the law requires, such as sales records.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your order, your booking and related offers. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

We don’t share mobile numbers or texting consent with third parties for marketing.

Cookies and the Meta pixel

The site uses a small number of cookies and a Meta pixel. The pixel tells us that a page was visited or a form was sent, so we can measure our ads.

If you visit from the UK, the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway, the pixel only loads if you say yes when asked. Everywhere else it loads when you arrive, and a notice tells you so. You can clear your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of services to run the business. They only receive what they need to do their job.

• GoHighLevel for the checkout, email, text messages, bookings and customer records.
• Stripe for card payments.
• Cloudflare for hosting the website, its images and its video.
• Google Workspace for email.
• Meta for ad measurement, through the pixel described above.

Some of these services store information outside Australia, including in the United States.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or if the business is sold, in which case the new owner must keep to this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as you are a customer or subscriber, and we keep our records for 5 years. When you unsubscribe we keep only what is needed to make sure you are not contacted again.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe. Use the link at the foot of any email, or reply STOP to any text.
• See, correct or delete your details. Email jamie@themodernmusicmethod.com and we will sort it within 30 days.
• If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your details, to receive a copy in a portable form, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
• If you are in Australia, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au if you are not happy with how we handle a complaint.

Children

Our site and products aren't meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone younger.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
